Giordano HR leads Elite White over Jackson Red Dogs 8-6
Jonathan Giordano's solo HR to deep left staked Elite to a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning and combined pitching by Nick DeRose, Kevin Anderson and Robert Jeans held the Jackson Red Dogs at bay to outlast them in a very sloppy game by the score of 8-6. The ugly victory gave Elite a perfect 5-0 record as they get ready to face Pt. Pleasant this coming weekend.

Kapp HR powers Elite Red victory, remain unbeaten.
Jason Kapp homered deep over the fence on Scavuzzo Field, and Dan Lazzaro pitched 5 strong innings as Elite Red defeated the Freehold Dawgs by a score of 9-3. Alex Civitello also pitched a scoreless last inning for the Elite.
Next up is Brick American on Thursday night.

Amazing Comeback for Elite Red!!
After spotting the Howell Fury an 8-1 lead, Elite Red offense came to life and capped a great comeback by beating Howell 14-10. Alex Civitello and Jeremy Byrd led Elite with multiple hit games. Christian McElroy spearheaded the defense with several great plays in CF.
Next up for Elite Red is Freehold at home.

TR Elite White Sweeps Doubleheader!!!
TR Elite White swept a doubleheader against crosstown rival TR Black Sox today by the scores of 9-8 and 11-0. In the first game, Jonathan Giordano pitched one hit ball over 4-1/3 innings, and outstanding relief pitching by Robert Jeans and Nick DeRose saved the win. Riley Engelhard paced the offense with 3 hits.
In the second game, Kevin Anderson pitched 1-hit ball for 3 innings, which was more than enough after Elite jumped out of the gate with 6 runs in the 1st inning. Tyler Skurat drilled 2 doubles, as Engelhard, DeRose, Kayla Roncin and Tyler Avallone each added multiple hits.
Next up for Elite White is the Jackson Red Dogs.

TR Elite Red opened up their season today with a convincing 16-0 victory over Wall. It was a total team effort, and the offense was led by Christian McElroy and Cody Gallarello. Red jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the Bottom of the 1st and never looked back. Next up for Red is undefeated Brick Bulldogs.

Missing 4 players? No problem for TR Elite White as they shut out a good Brick American team for a 6-0 victory. Jonathan Giordano and Nick DeRose again combined on the pitching gem. Mike Montenegro led White with 3 hits and a very good defensive game was led by 3B Alex Civitello, who made several nice plays. Kayla Roncin and Tyler Avallone each had 2 hits to pace the offense. Next up is the Jackson Coyotes, who are also 2-0 and have won both their games by the combined score of 32-5.

TR Elite White opened their season with a bang today and properly defended their title, beating the Point Pleasant Bulls by the score of 7-2. This was the first time the White opened the Spring season with a victory. It was a total team effort and Jonathan Giordano, Robert Jeans and Nick DeRose combined to scatter 4 hits. Solid defense led to the victory, with good defensive games by Riley Engelhard, Kyle Kerr, Bill Fleury and Tyler Avallone. Next up for White is the Brick American Bulldogs at TRLL on April 15.

Congratulations to TR Elite for finishing in 2nd Place in this weekend's Spring Fever Tournament. Elite finished with a record of 4-1 and lost a tough game to the premier team in the state in the championship game. This weekend included some great team play, some great individual performances, and as always another great comeback win. Elite knocked off Diamond Nation's Gold team 5-4 with a great comeback win in the Bottom of the 6th. Photos coming soon !!!

USABL has announced their tentative divisions. As of right now, it appears the White team will be competing in the American Shore South Division, and the Red will be playing in the National Shore South.
Here is the teams in each division. Schedule to be announced in a few weeks and Opening Day is Sunday, April 1.

Toms River Elite is proud to announce we have a new winter hitting and workout facility. Our new home will be the Toms River Sports Academy, which is located behind the Rands Shopping Plaza on Hooper Avenue. Workouts will begin the week of January 15, 2012 and run into the end of March, when we can hopefully get outside, weather permitting. We will also have a few Saturday mornings thrown in where we can work on our defense, baserunning, pitching and throwing. All weeknight practices will be hitting only.
Full winter schedule will be out in about a week and will be updated and found on the "Practice Schedule" tab on this website.

Elite White recently defeated the Jackson Coyotes 18-6 to capture the 2011 USABL Fall League Championship. This Championship culminated a great weekend of Elite baseball after coming back from being down 14-6 to Monroe with only 6 outs left to come back and win an amazing 16-15 game the day before. Congrats to the boys!

TR Elite wins the Halloween Tournament right here in Toms River by defeating the NJ Naturals 16-2 in the Semi-Finals and beating the Piedmont Yankees (NY) 15-0 in the Finals to give Elite their inaugural tournament title. After two second place finishes this year in earlier tournaments, the boys put it all together on Sunday and played some great team baseball.
